What is Theosophy?

Theosophy—from the Greek theos (divine) and sophia (wisdom)—is the study of the underlying unity of all existence.

It draws from the world’s oldest philosophical and spiritual traditions, bringing them into dialogue with one another and with contemporary thought.

It is not a religion, and it requires no fixed beliefs.

  • The fundamental unity of all humanity

  • The study of comparative religion, philosophy, and science

  • The exploration of the deeper laws of nature and human potential

What is consciousness, and where does it originate?

Does awareness extend beyond the physical body?

What insights do ancient traditions offer that modern science is only beginning to recognise?
