This talk offers an accessible introduction to the rich philosophical heritage of India and explores how ancient Indian ideas continue to influence the way we think about life, ethics, society and human consciousness.
The session introduces key concepts such as Sanātana Dharma, Dharma, Ahimsa, Karma Siddhanta, Moksha and Ṛta (RIT-uh) (cosmic order), and explores how these ideas can be understood not merely as philosophical concepts, but as principles that can shape everyday life and our relationship with ourselves, others and the world.
